1. We offer full SAT/ACT pre-testing to determine the baseline throughout the calendar year. It allows you to eliminate the worry of the unknown and get these scores long before your child will be taking the official college test.
2. We offer several SAT prep programs: Program 1 - All -Subjects Prep and Program 2 One-Subject Prep. These plans include individualized tutoring by a college-level teacher with the focus on strategies of taking the test and improving the student’s understanding of the structure and demands of each test. The program provides the study materials, light homework, and one exit test to determine the progress.
3. You can choose to enroll your student into 12 Practice Test Program that will prepare your students for the upcoming college test. This is especially effective for students who already have strong SAT/ACT skills, but need a boost of confidence and improvement of the time-management skills.
4. We offer Speed Training Course that increases the fluency of reading twice in a 2 months period of time. Students with higher reading speed score consistently above 28 points on ACT and 1200 points on SAT.

A Unique Strategy for Success - Fluency Training
Brainy Kids Tutoring Centers is a proven leader in SAT/ACT Prep since 2001. Our view of the SAT/ACT preparation is of a customized approach that allows us to focus on the specific goals and needs of each student. The results are proven and documented. A key element of our SAT/ACT Preparation is the Fluency Training Course that allows the student to increase the fluency of reading twice in a two-month period of time. The average student in high school reads at 225 words per minute (with a reading comprehension of minimum 85%). Students who read at 600 words per minute (with a reading comprehension of 95%) score consistently above 30 points on ACT and 1300 points on SAT. Enrolling in our Fluency Training will give your child the main skill that leads to the increase of the SAT/ACT scores.

The second number is the speed of reading of the same student at the end of the 2-month program. The usual increase is 100%. Note: some students might need three to four months of training to achieve the desired result.
