Nolan Kottke, transitioned from only life-skills classes in the 6th grade to a full schedule of regular classes in 2 years of tutoring at Brainy Kids. We initiated this change and convinced the parents and the school that Nolan was able to study and deserved the opportunity to learn like other children do. We believe in the potential of every student to succeed!

Nicole Husband, a 15-year-old girl with Down syndrome, who could never read a word prior to enrolling in our center, started to read sentences with monosyllabic words just in 6 weeks of our program. Her vocabulary exploded, and she started to read chapter books in one year of starting our program!

Chase improved his ACT subject test 4 points overall: he went from 17 to 21 in English and from 18 to 19 in Reading. We realize now that we should have brought our son earlier, like in 10th grade, to work on his Reading Comprehension skills and Reading Speed. This subject is built up over the span of years of schooling. We are still grateful to Brainy Kids Tutoring Centers staff for guidance and helping my son to overcome severe test anxiety.

My three sons were all tutored at Brainy Kids. My oldest, Nick, was offered the full tuition at Day Country School ($25,000 a year for four years) after he had taken the ACT test in the 8th grade, He was tutored for the ACT for two months at Brainy Kids prior to this. My middle son, Louis, was tutored here in the 3rd grade (one year in English), in the 8th grade (one year in English), and in the 11th grade for ACT. Louis was offered acceptance and free scholarship (with his soccer career in line) at Princeton, Yale, and Brown Universities. My younger son was tutored for three years while attending a private school for learning disabled children. He was able to do advanced 5th grade level work in this tutoring center when he was in the 2nd grade! His private school teachers were very impressed with his level of work. My daughter never struggled with math until her 10th grade. My son Luca was finishing the 1st grade. In April the school tested him in Reading. The result was Level 4. Luca was 8 months behind. Just in short 4 months in Brainy Kids Program he progressed more than in 8 months of school. He was tested by school again in August with the result of Reading on level 12! The school teachers were impressed. We liked the fact that the tutors at Brainy Kids teach addressing all learning styles. It really helps to reach students who otherwise have difficulty retaining the concepts. We now recommend Brainy Kids to our friends and neighbors.

My kids love coming to this center! They are always excited to go back. Mrs. Tsokur has a magic touch; she knows how to talk to kids. Our son Jay was scheduled to be transferred out of a local public school into a special program. With cerebral palsy and vision problems Jay could not write any letters, numbers, or his name. My 7-year-old son spent two years in Kindergarten. The school refused to enroll him in the first grade. After 4 months in Brainy Kids Program Jay was able to write his name, all letters and numbers, improved greatly his reading and math skills and was admitted in the first grade. Mrs. Tsokur was invited to the School Board Meeting at Cheyenne Elementary School and shared her success secrets with a group of ten specialists who had worked with Jay previously for two years. She believed in our child and advocated for him!

The private school my son Marcus attends requires a lot from kids. He is basically taught at one grade level higher compared to a public school. It is difficult to keep up with his teacher's curriculum. My son went from all Cs to Honor Roll in twelve months of staying in the program. His vocabulary expanded, the decoding skills improved, and handwriting got much better. His confidence grew immensely!
