Language Arts K-12
- The proficiency of language can lead to increased comprehension and success in all classes requiring reading. The Language Arts Program covers the essential language study areas that are usually assigned based on your child’s needs and the results of the testing. We love teaching higher levels of curriculum to students. You would be surprised what a child can grasp when concepts are presented in an easy-to-understand and personalized way!
Math K-12

The Math Curriculum is taught with a three-prong approach.
1. We offer an in-depth tutoring of grade-relevant topics that we explain inside-out. This deep understanding of why and how the concept works allows our students to successfully apply these concepts in challenging testing settings in order to solve the problems set up and/or worded in an unusual or complicated manner.
2. Our tutors ensure that the student understands the math terminology of his or her lesson very well. Math language is like any other foreign language: if you know the words, you can speak it. Once a student knows the pertinent vocabulary of his or her math lesson, he or she can learn and apply the material confidently.
3. Your child will be offered advice on how to study math, how to work on an assignment, and/or how to study the terminology. These study skills will help when the child is working on assignments or taking tests outside of the tutoring center.

Science

We offer homework support in the following regular and AP level Science classes.
Your child might need help in Social and Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. If so, a student can be tutored on a regular basis, or you may book just a couple of sessions to prep your child for upcoming tests, mid-term, or final exams. Excellent students who usually do not require an on-going tutoring, nevertheless, might struggle occasionally with a subject. However, with timely and effective help, they will obtain high scores.
Fluency Training
- The Fluency Training Course allows students to increase the fluency of reading in a two-month period of time

A Unique Strategy for Success - Fluency Training
Brainy Kids Tutoring Centers is a proven leader in SAT/ACT Prep since 2001. Our view of the SAT/ACT preparation is of a customized approach that allows us to focus on the specific goals and needs of each student. The results are proven and documented. Our graduates received offers of thousands of dollars in scholarships from the colleges of their choice.
A key element of our SAT/ACT Preparation is the Fluency Training Course that allows the student to increase the fluency of reading twice in a two-month period of time. The average student in high school reads at 225 words per minute (with a reading comprehension of minimum 85%). Students who read at 600 words per minute (with a reading comprehension of 95%) score consistently above 30 points on ACT and 1300 points on SAT. Enrolling in our Fluency Training will give your child the main skill that leads to the increase of the SAT/ACT scores.

The second number is the speed of reading of the same student at the end of the 2-month program. The usual increase is 100%. Note: some students might need three to four months of training to achieve the desired result.
